Created shorlty after the Paris Bombing, changing my style of art on how I felt during this time.

This piece was created when the Syrian refuges began arriving in Kamloops.

Just finished these pieces the last couple of months, since our lives seem to be in a whirl wind I decided I needed to see were my paint brush would take me. No concept of what would end up on the canvas just wanted to have fun from my usual seriousness and precise lines. I did manage to use the same technique I have always used.

PLEASE NOTE AS OF NOV 28th TO DEC 11 2015  Saturday morning workshops will be held at Heritage House in the basement    and then break for Christmas and New Years.   WILL START UP AGAIN AT HERITAGE HOUSE JAN 16th to POSSIBLY FEB 2016  due to courthouse renos,  after completed will return to Old Kamloops Courthouse Cultural Centre    Everyone welcome, bring supplies and your favorite photos, I will have some supplies on hand. No experience necessary.   Starts at 9:30 to 12:30   DROP IN  stay 1 hour or 3 hours, whatever you wish.     Coffee, tea and goodies served.    Cost $5.00 an hour.

Saturday Morning Get Together And Create Your Own Personal Masterpiece.

Saturday Morning class for the artist that has light to no painting experience and wishes to develop their art work at their own pace. Students are encouraged to bring in their projects/photographs and explore their own ideas, with help and encouragement from Kelly. This class is open to any medium such as acrylic, watercolor, pastels, pencil or mixed media. All students should register and pay in advance the number of classes they wish to attend. Drop-in’s welcome, if there is space. This fee does not include paints or materials. Each class would require their own mediums as well as canvas or substrate. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and see were the class goes from here. There are no mistakes in art, art is all about a feeling and expression of self.  Bring your photographs of subjects you may want to create. Allow art to be your voice.
Every Saturday unless other wise notified.
Dates: Saturday Mornings from: 9:30 to 12:30
Kamloops Cutural Centre, Old Kamloops Courthouse, workshop downstairs.
Instructor: Kelly C Perry (BFA)
Fee: $5.00 Per Hour    Stay for one or three hours.
