Kelly's Art for the week

Finger painted this piece with oil, second time I have worked with oil and love the glide.
It's been fun just playing with different styles these last few weeks. Amazing if you let one's mind go what it can create.  Just letting it flow and see what happens to the canvas

This canvas has taken forever and after a conversation that effected me, I began thinking and planning the canvas, something I have never done and probably sure I won't do it again. Planning almost makes creating the canvas a real problem, I am more about intuitive art and how things happening are effecting me.  This was truly a good lesson for me.

Grinding down the soils and rocks I found in within a 300 mile radios of my home. Oh so many soils and rocks.   I manage to create this piece using my ground pigments, gum arabic and a bit of water. Did use Cochineal Bug for red and Indigo Plant for the blues. This is a small piece so will adventure to a larger one. Back to grinding.

Decided I would create on small canvas my holiday's I have ventured on. Wonderful memories and so many amazing places. I am sure I will never be able to paint them all. But this is a beginning.
